Wildlife photos are one of the main reasons I got into photography, It’s taking a while to get proficient. But with a little patience and wet sandy knees to get the angle low I managed to capture this brilliant shot of (I think) a juvenile Herring Gull getting it’s feet wet in the sand. The light was in just the right place and bright enough to give some good contrast against it’s feathers. The layers of other gulls into the various depths of field really make the subject pop.
